PVC infusion hose 6/9 mm – simple and reliable

A transparent flexible PVC hose with an inner diameter of 6 mm and an outer diameter of 9 mm is a basic element of every resin infusion kit. It is used both to feed resin into the mould and to carry air and excess resin towards the resin trap and the vacuum pump.

Dlaczego warto?

  • Transparency. The resin flow is visible as it happens, so it is easy to spot air bubbles, the moment the resin reaches the vacuum line and the right time to clamp the hose.
  • Flexibility. The hose is easy to lay, route around the mould and close with a clip or clamp.
  • Matched diameter. 6/9 mm fits typical infusion connectors, tees and feed-throughs, as well as spiral tubes and feed channels.
  • Versatility. Works with epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resins.

Application example

When infusing a panel, one length of hose runs from the resin container to the spiral tube or inlet connector on the bag. A second length connects the vacuum line to the resin trap and the vacuum pump. Before starting, both lengths are clamped. Once the bag has been leak-checked, the inlet is opened, and when the resin has wetted out the laminate and reached the vacuum line, the inlet hose is clamped.

Dla kogo?

For composite workshops, boat builders and the motorsport industry, as well as hobbyists getting started with infusion.
