RESOLTECH 1070 ECO is a high-quality, crystal-clear epoxy system designed for laminating, developed to create transparent laminates and high-gloss, clear coatings with good UV stability and excellent mechanical properties.
The 1070 ECO system is a modern formulation that incorporates two key components in its biobased composition: a partially bio-sourced epoxy resin and a reactive plant-based diluent. This allows for the highest possible content of biobased ingredients without compromising the mechanical properties typical of structural epoxy systems.
The resulting laminates will be completely clear on carbon fiber, and even transparent when applied to special Hexcel Silionne E glass fabrics with TF970 coating.
The viscosity of the system has been optimized for application with a squeegee, brush, or roller, allowing for a perfectly smooth, bubble-free surface thanks to its surface tension properties. The 1070 ECO system has been formulated to leave virtually no free amines on the laminate, making it compatible with any quality polyester topcoat. This allows for quick sanding without the risk of polyester inhibition.
For the 1070 ECO resin system, a weight ratio of 100/35 with the 1074 ECO hardener is recommended.
Storage: Keep containers tightly closed and away from heat and cold, ideally at a temperature between 10°C and 30°C in a well-ventilated area. Our products are guaranteed when stored in their original packaging (check the expiration date on the label).
Mixture Color: 1070 ECO has a translucent violet color, and after combining it with the hardener, the mixture retains a translucent violet hue.
